Departments

Departments allow your business to define taxable groups of items for your inventory. You can provide varying tax rates for different groups of items.

Creating a Department

1. Click New Department.
2. Enter the department name.
3. If taxable, enter the department tax rate.
4. If non-taxable, make sure to uncheck Taxable to ignore the tax rate.
5. Click Create.

Editing a Department

• To edit an existing department, double-click the row of the department.
• To delete a department, click the red trash icon on the row of the department.
